Woven into the tapestry of my mind

Pure white thread, innocence sublime

 

Needle stained with heart’s red ire

Stabbing, grabbing, not your desire

 

Orange flames an ember’s hue

In the quilt, my desire for you

 

Green, waxing, waning sea

Emotions’ yo-yoed intensity

 

Golden corn your jealous shade

Anxious heart; he’ll make a trade?

 

Woven tapestry, display my life

Black the tone, of grief and strife

 

Plunge beneath blue, cleansing flood

Crimson stream, healing blood

 

Purple, robe’s deepest sheen

Bride adorned, regal queen

 

Robes of white, righteous grandeur

Gates of pearl, land of splendor
